there is a great trail near our house in columbia. clark & i love to walk around the "marsh". so much nature there! there are some beautiful birds, sometimes a deer or two, maybe a snapping turtle if you're lucky. last night it was especially beautiful as the sun was setting on the grasses. it seems a picture can never capture quite how beautiful it is.
so true. that often drives me crazy that you can't capture the beauty - but then, it makes it all the more wonderful when you get quite close. and there's also something wonderful about the fact that it is illusive and can only be experienced right then. you really do have an eye for photography ker. i love seeing all your photos.
